Verify Investments in Nigeria (Don’t Fund a Ponzi)
If the “investment” sounds too sweet, it’s probably designed to chop your money. Verify first. Then invest.
Top Ponzi red flags
- Guaranteed fixed returns (especially weekly/monthly).
- They pay you more for referrals than for the actual product.
- They can’t explain the business model in plain English.
- Withdrawals start “pending” as soon as many people try to cash out.
Quick due diligence checklist
- Who owns it? Real names, real company registration (CAC), real address.
- Where is your money kept? (Custody matters more than marketing.)
- Do they have audited statements or any credible proof beyond screenshots?
